Accountant (SAP)

THN Capital is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with expertise in SAP to join our team in Lugano.It is a part-time onsite job and the Accountant (SAP) will be responsible for daily bookkeeping, for managing financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting using SAP software.The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in SAP financial modules.
Responsibilities
• Utilize SAP software to perform daily accounting tasks, including recording financial transactions, preparing journal entries, rocessing invoices
• and maintaining general ledgers.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts, ensuring accuracy and identifying any discrepancies.
• Generate financial reports using SAP, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing procedures in compliance with accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in financial operations conducted through SAP.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and provide necessary documentation for audits.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Accounting/Finance experience.
• Proven experience as an Accountant with hands-on experience working with SAP.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in utilizing SAP financial modules, such as SAP FI/CO, SAP ECC, or SAP S/4HANA.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, positive attitude and well-organized.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to meet deadlines.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and their interpretation.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• CPA certification is a plus.
